Adventuring Fervor

Developer Commentary

The "Adventuring Fervor," introduced during the last Heidel Ball and Kamasylvian Teahouse, has been updated.

Adventuring Fervor is designed to ease the need for Adventurers to constantly monitor auto-hunts 24 hours a day,
and to ensure that Adventurers are guaranteed the basic resources needed for progression while farming.

Up until now, many Adventurers have hesitated to enjoy other content outside of auto-hunt
due to concerns about losing EXP and loot.
We also felt it was unfortunate that the first thought about new content was the potential loss of EXP.

So we prepared ways to keep the amount of loot and combat EXP you could get in 24 hours with Adventuring Fervor,
while significantly improving the loot balance in normal hunting zones.

Our aim is to create an environment in Black Desert Mobile where Adventurers can comfortably enjoy
a variety of activities beyond auto-hunts.

Even after this update, we will carefully review internal data and the feedback from Adventurers
to find ways to make your gameplay experience even more enjoyable.


- Adventuring Fervor can be checked by tapping [Menu] - [Black Spirit] - [Adventuring Fervor].

 

- Adventuring Fervor accumulates up to 60,000 points and resets every day at 00:00.
ㆍ Even if unused points remain from the previous day, the total cannot exceed 60,000 points.
ㆍ 1 point of Adventuring Fervor is consumed for each Monster defeated in normal hunting zones.

- When Adventuring Fervor is fully depleted, the following effects will be applied:

Available - Black Spirit quest and Monster-hunting quest progression in normal hunting zones.
- EXP and rewards in zones that consume exploration time or require Entry Passes.
ㆍExample: Everfrost, Land of the Sherekhan, Great Desert, Chaos Rift, Heatswept Land, Event Rift, Resonating Beach, Restricted Zone, Quest Missions, Boss Rush, Alyaelli's Rift, Ancient Ruins, Tower of Trials, Great Temple, Cursed Pirate Island, Path of Glory, Co-op Rush, Trials of Ator: Ancient/Elite, Fallen God's Realm, Night of Vengeful Souls, Black Sun, etc.
Unavailable - EXP and rewards from defeating Monsters in normal hunting zones.
- Leveled Knowledge and Mount EXP from defeating Monsters.

Loot Drops

- Changed how loot is obtained in all normal hunting zones.

Before Through Spoils of Battle
After Instantly upon defeating Monsters

- Changed the loot dropped in certain hunting zones.
ㆍNoble Tear of the Goddess can be obtained from loot chests dropped in East Valencia and beyond.
ㆍSun Crystal can now be obtained instead of Chaos Crystal.

- Increased the amount obtained for the following items:

- Hunting zones in the following regions grant more EXP for defeating Monsters as the recommended CP increases:
ㆍ Kamasylvia, Drieghan, West Calpheon, Donghae Province
- You can now check the Loot List in normal hunting zones.
- Item Drop Rate is increased by 5% when hunting in Outlaw Zone.
- Changed the grade of Dark Coin and vendor-sellable Loot to Normal.

Holy Vial of Light
- Decreased the Holy Vial of Light consumption by approximately 50% with the Adventuring Fervor update.
ㆍExample: The same amount of EXP can be obtained in the following cases.

Before 14,640 Holy Vials of Light consumed over 24 hours in Zone A
After Approximately 7,300 Holy Vials of Light consumed over 5 hours in Zone A

- Holy Vial of Light Rush Event is taking place for 2 weeks following the Adventuring Fervor update.

Black Spirit Mode
- Temporarily disabled Black Spirit Mode to implement the Adventuring Fervor system.
ㆍBlack Spirit Plus time consumed during this period will be extended when Black Spirit Mode is updated with Adventuring Fervor.

Buff Items
- Decreased the duration of French Toast and Special French Toast effects. (2 hours → 1 hour)
ㆍ For each French Toast and/or Special French Toast in possession, 1 extra has been sent to the in-game mailbox during the update maintenance on Sep 16 (Tue).
- Doubled the amount of French Toast and Special French Toast cooked.
- Increased the amount of Special French Toast exchanged from NPC Ray Poilet in the Guild Fortress. (1 → 2)
ㆍThe exchange limit for the item remains unchanged.
- Changed the shop price and standard market price for French Toast and Special French Toast.

- Active buff items have expired during the update maintenance on Sep 16 (Tue) and additional items equal to the number you owned have been sent to the in-game mail.

Nightmare Revamp

- The Rift leading to Nightmare: Jade Starlight Forest has opened.
- Enter the Nightmare by purchasing and using Dreamward Lantern from NPC Dreamwarden at the entrance to the Rift in Duvencrune.

ㆍDreamward Lantern grants 3 hours of Nightmare exploration time, with a weekly purchase limit of 7.
ㆍDreamward Lantern expires in 7 days, and can be sold at Vendors after expiry.


- Nightmare: Jade Starlight Forest is divided into 5 levels.

- Monster stats are fixed based on Required CP from Levels 1 to 4.

- Increased the number of Monsters that must be defeated to summon Leebur.
- Increased the Blizzard respawn time.

- Combat against Guild Members and other Adventurers is now possible in all levels.
- Changed the outfits for all Adventurers to be identical in Nightmare.

- Added a save function for Nightmare Remaining Time.
ㆍExploration time can stack up to 21 hours.
- The revive button in Nightmare is enabled 4 seconds after death.

Night of Vengeful Souls and Black Sun Revamp

Developer Commentary

Night of Vengeful Souls and Black Sun have long been loved by many Adventurers.

To allow more Adventurers to participate at their preferred times,
We have divided the content schedule into 4 time slots in a day.

Following this change, we have adjusted the reward system, map size,
and maximum number of participants so you can enjoy the content at any time without issue.

With this update, we hope you experience both the thrill of competition and rewards in Night of Vengeful Souls and Black Sun.



- Changed Night of Vengeful Souls to be held 4 times as follows after the update maintenance on Sep 16 (Tue):

- Changed the maximum number of participants per channel for Night of Vengeful Souls. (120 → 70)

- Decreased the Night of Vengeful Souls map size.
ㆍThe map is now limited to Nampo's Moodle Village, Shimnidae Forest, Ooldool Strait, Cheongsan Institute, and Dokkebi Forest in the Land of the Morning Light.


- Changed placement, CP, and kill score for certain Night of Vengeful Souls Monsters.
ㆍMonster stats vary based on overall ranking CP each time Night of Vengeful Souls begins.

- Changed the score achievement rewards based on total points to Monster kill rewards.
ㆍObtain rewards based on the highest number of Monsters defeated after Night of Vengeful Souls ends.
ㆍThe Monster kill count can be checked via the UI at the top right during Night of Vengeful Souls.

- Monster kill count resets each time Night of Vengeful Souls begins.

- Changed Season Pass rewards to include Chaos-grade gear and accessories after the update on Sep 16 (Tue).

Merged Market

Developer Commentary

With this update, the Markets for the Americas, Europe, and Asia servers have been merged.

The amount of items created, consumed, and traded on the Market varied
depending on the gameplay patterns of Adventurers in each region.
As a result, even the same items showed different price fluctuations and availability across regions,
creating economic imbalances. To address this, we are introducing the Merged Market.

In the new Merged Market, Adventurers will be able to trade items with those from other regions.
You can conveniently store items for trade in your Market Storage,
and quickly register items you wish to sell by designating them as Main Trade Items.
Additionally, the price chart allows you to easily check the recently adjusted Standard Price at a glance.

We hope the Merged Market provides a better trading environment for all Adventurers.


- Items from other regions can be bought or sold through the Merged Market.
- Items and Silver must be placed in Market Storage to trade through the Merged Market.
- Gear and Accessory items can be registered with Crystals and Enchantments. When sold, equipped Crystals and Enchantments are reset.
ㆍIf the item is unsold and moved back from Market Storage to Inventory, its Crystals and Enchantments are maintained.

- Prices and traded quantities for registrable items are set as follows:

ㆍTraded Quantity: Total traded quantity across the Americas, Europe, and Asia servers

New Content and Improvements

Developer Commentary

We have changed the content unlock requirements, aiming to help new and returning Adventurers adapt to the game more quickly.

Previously, most content was only accessible after completing main quests or specific stories.
As this could make gameplay challenging for new or returning Adventurers,
content is now unlocked simply by reaching a certain CP, without having to complete main quests or stories.

Additionally, stories are no longer requirements for content, but provide background and lore for each content, which can be played whenever Adventurers want.

We hope the Content Index provides Adventurers with an intuitive guide toward experiencing content for progression.

- Changed content unlock requirements to CP.
ㆍStories for content that require tutorials or prerequisite stories, such as Path of Glory, Great Ocean, and Atoraxxion, can be accessed immediately by reaching the required CP.

- Expanding content that has been unlocked may require progressing through a background story.
ㆍExample: Black Shrine in the Land of the Morning Light unlocks with CP, but challenging bosses other than the first four (Bari, Golden Pig King, Gumiho, Songakshi) requires completion of each boss's Tale Collection.
ㆍExample: Unlocking higher difficulties for the Great Desert requires completion of the story for that difficulty.
ㆍExample: Rabam's Trials and Land of the Sherekhan unlock with CP, but learning Succession and Rabam Skills requires completion of the stories unlocked with CP.


- Changed the starting CP of certain Boss Rushes with the Boss Rush unlock requirements update.

- Added a maximum damage cap that can be dealt at once to all Boss Rush bosses.

- Changed the suggested CP for Balenos - South Valencia zones and missions.

- Decreased the number of Monsters required for certain "Defeat Monsters" Bounty Missions.
