Nightmare: Tshira

- The Rift leading to Nightmare: Tshira has opened.
- Increased the zone size by approximately 50% and the number of monsters by 30%, slightly widening the distance between monsters.
- Increased the drop rate of Sealed Charm of Succession in Tshira and Weakened Tshira.

- Added a shimmering green mist UI effect to Tshira.
- Added Sun Crystal and Chaos Core to the main rewards.
- Changed so that defeating Turaka now guarantees the following rewards: Dimensional Fragment, Chaos Crystal, Shadow Knot, [Abyssal] Condensed Dark Energy Chest, and Advanced EXP Scroll.

- Added "Swamp Bug Swarm" monsters to Nightmare: Tshira.
ㆍDefeating a Swamp Bug Swarm reveals a Treasure Chest at its location.
ㆍInteract with the chest to obtain rewards.

- Nightmare: Tshira Achievements have been reset and can now be attempted again.
ㆍ Achievements can only be completed once, regardless of difficulty.
ㆍ Achievements are available until Nightmare: Tshira closes.

Developer Commentary

In this class balance update, we focused on adjusting the PvE balance for classes
that continued to fall short in PvE performance, even after our previous improvements.

This time, we have widened the attack range for classes that previously felt limited in this area,
while also improving Auto-combat AI to significantly enhance PvE performance.

Twisted Colllision


- Increased Attack Range.
ㆍ 1st, 2nd hit: 3.5m → 4m
ㆍ 3rd hit: 4.2m → 4.7m


Wolf's Frenzy


- Increased Attack Range (4m → 4.5m)


Hurricane Kick


- Increased Attack Range (4m → 4.5m)


Stay Down (Rabam Skill)


- Increased Attack Range (3m → 4.5m)
- Increased Attack Speed (1.87 sec → 1.7 sec)


Fury Dive (Succession Skill)

- Changed PvE Damage (Max 5 hits)

- Changed the Damage Multiplier against World Bosses with PvE balance adjustments (116.91% → 112.1%)


Wolf's Frenzy (Succession Skill)

- Changed the effect of Flow: Scissor Kick.

Frenzied Strikes (Rabam Skill)

- Increased PvE Damage (Max 3 hits)

ㆍLv 10: 2,340% → 2,503.8%
- Improved AI behavior for using the skill during Auto-Combat.


- Changed the Damage Multiplier against World Bosses with PvE balance adjustments (122.54% → 119.15%).


Captain's Will

- Increased Skill Speed.
・When used while stationary: 0.84 sec → 0.76 sec
・When used while moving: 0.75 sec → 0.71 sec


Sun-shielder Patraca (Rabam Skill)

- Increased the speed of finding the next target after defeating the target with the skill.
- Changed to allow combo into following skills after using the skill:
・Flow: Tide Slasher of Descending Tide
・Pirate Tricks
・Captain's Will
・Mistbreaker
・Smooth Sailin'
- Increased the horizontal attack range (2.2m → 2.5m)


- Changed the Damage Multiplier against World Bosses with PvE balance adjustments (102.28% → 99.38%)


Willow Slash

- Increased the attack range of the circular slash. (3.5m → 4m)
- Increased the time for "Increase Skill Damage" stack from Blood Harvest to reset. (3 sec → 4 sec)


Twin Strike

- Increased the attack range of the circular slash. (3.5m → 4m)
- Changed to allow combo into Menacing Blades after using the skill.
- Increased the time for "Increase Skill Damage" stack from Blood Harvest to reset. (3 sec → 4 sec)


Menacing Blades

- Increased the attack range of the circular slash. (3.5m → 4m)
- Changed to allow combo into Willow Slash after using the skill.


Vacuum Slice

- Changed to allow combo into Menacing Blades after using the skill.
- Increased the time for "Increase Skill Damage" stack from Blood Harvest to reset. (3 sec → 4 sec)


Bridled Despair (Rabam Skill)

- Changed to allow combo into Dance of Death or Twin Strike after using the skill.
- Increased the time for "Increase Skill Damage" stack from Blood Harvest to reset. (3 sec → 4 sec)


Soul Raid (Rabam Skill)

- Changed to allow combo into Willow Slash or Twin Strike after using the skill.
- Changed the combos after Soul Raid to continue even if the grab misses.


- Changed the Damage Multiplier against World Bosses with PvE balance adjustments (105.88% → 102.66%)


Twin Strike (Succession Skill)

- Increased the attack range of the circular slash. (3.5m → 4m)


Dancing Blade

- Increased the combo speed into Eclipse from any hits by 0.12 seconds.
- Changed to allow combo into Fury of Kamasylvia after using the skill.


Cross Slash

- Changed to allow combo into Slanted Balance after using the skill.


Umbral Pillars (Succession Skill)

- Changed to allow combo into Blooming Black Rose after using the skill.


Blooming Black Rose (Rabam Skill)

- Changed to allow combo into Obsidian Ashes after using the skill.


- Changed the Damage Multiplier against World Bosses with PvE balance adjustments (104.01% → 102.55%)


Blinding Slash

- Changed to be used even when close to enemies during Auto-Combat.


Developer Commentary

Gladiator has a passive skill effect that increases the damage of key skills by 30%
and grants Forward Guard upon using Shield Charge, Charging Thrust, or Piercing Spear.

However, we have noticed that this passive skill effect is not being utilized efficiently
against monsters with high HP during Auto-Combat.

Even in regular monster zones, when these skills are used in auto-hunt,
the efficiency of this passive tends to drop as the monsters with low HP are defeated with a single hit.

For these reasons, we initially considered leaving a portion of these skills to be used manually.
However, considering that important monster zones such as Everfrost and Land of the Sherekhan require Adventurers to engage in prolonged battles,
we determined that requiring manual control for these skills might be excessive.

Therefore, we have improved the Auto-Combat to use Shield Charge more often between the key skills,
so the passive can be activated more efficiently..

Please note that when facing enemies with low HP that can be defeated with a single hit during auto-combat,
the frequent use of Shield Charge, which has a relatively narrow attack range, may result in a decrease in the number of monsters defeated, depending on your skill setup.

But we expect to see higher efficiency in hunting through different skill setups and Auto-Combat locks
depending on the characteristcs and purpose of the monster zones.

Ground Smash

- Added a short jump for Flow: Leap of Faith without directional input.
- Changed to use a short jump when the target is within 4.5m during Auto-Combat.


Shield Charge

- Changed to allow combo into Ground Smash or Scars of Dusk.
- Improved the Auto-Combat AI.
ㆍAfter using short Shield Charge, the AI will now use Spinning Slash, Scars of Dusk, Ground Smash, Counter Slash, and Ground Slash more frequently to benefit from the Strong Principle: Increase Damage effect.
ㆍAfter using Spinning Slash, Scars of Dusk, Ground Smash, Counter Slash, or Ground Slash, the AI will now use Shield Charge more frequently to refresh the Strong Principle: Increase Damage effect.


- Changed the Damage Multiplier against World Bosses with PvE balance adjustments (129.59% → 122.38%)

New Content and Improvements

- [Drakania] Changed the stance so that Sub-Weapon is now visible in the Pearl Shop and Dye screens.

- Extended the Knowledge Boost Season until the update maintenance on Jul 22 (Tue).
ㆍProgression Plus and Progression Plus 2 will remain available as is.
- All Progression Pass exclusive items (Tuvala Black Crystal, Tuvala Gear, etc.) are scheduled to be deleted during update maintenance on Jul 22 (Tue).
- Season-related Pearl Items are scheduled to be removed from the Shop on Jul 20 (Sun), 23:59, as the Knowledge Boost Season ends.

ㆍPlease note the information above while playing through the Knowledge Boost Season.

- First clear reward status has been reset.

- Changed the way Hwacha and Flame Tower rotate to resolve an issue where rotation was not possible at certain angles after moving left or right.
ㆍChanged from following the camera angle to following the joystick input direction.



Error Fixes

- [Dosa] Fixed an issue where Adventurer's Apparition from Rabam skills would remain when teleporting with extra hits from Cloudspire.
- [Dosa] Fixed an issue where Grab Immunity was missing from the description for Black Spirit's Rage.
- [Dosa] Fixed an issue where damage distribution was not applied correctly when multiple Adventurers were hit by Cloudveil(Succession skill) or Wind Shear(Succession skill).
- [Letanas] Fixed an issue where damage distribution was not applied correctly when multiple Adventurers were hit.
- [Deadeye] Fixed an issue where damage distribution was not applied correctly when multiple Adventurers were hit by Dead Eye Shot(Succession skill) or Reach for the Sky(Succession skill).
- [Spiritwalker] Fixed an issue where specters would not disappear when using Phoenix Wings after Moonfall while moving.
- [Wizard] Fixed an issue where the character would stutter when hit by Storm Cloud.
- [Woosa] Fixed an issue where the character would stutter when hit by Stormfall.
- [Gladiator] Fixed an issue where Shield Charge → Counter Slash combo was not displayed in the List of Skill Combos.



Upcoming Updates

Developer Commentary

We would like to address the recent feedback from many adventurers regarding the grab skills.

Grab is a powerful skill in PvP that can neutralize an opponent’s Super Armor and knock them down.
After the Rabam skill update, it especially became more significant as you could combo Rabam skills after a successful grab.

Considering the overall impact of grab skills on game balance,

we are currently preparing and testing improvements as outlined below to provide a more balanced combat experience.

BEFORE AFTER

1. Increasing Vulnerability Duration After Failed Grab
Currently, when a grab fails, the character is briefly left vulnerable. Moving forward, this vulnerability duration will be slightly extended.
With this adjustment, we aim to encourage Adventurers to make more careful decisions when using grab skills.

2. Increasing Grab Skill Cooldown
The current cooldowns for grab skills are around 10 seconds.
This makes it relatively easy to combo into Rabam skills, which have cooldowns of around 20 seconds, even if only one out of two grab attempts succeeds.
We plan to increase the cooldown for grab skills, making the timing of these skills even more crucial.

3. Adding Pre-Grab Skill Action (TBD)

If further improvement is needed even after the first two steps as we monitor the impact of grab skills in combat, and we determine that additional action is necessary,
We are considering adding a specific animation before the skill is used, giving opponents more room to recognize and respond to grabs.

These proposed improvements require further internal testing and adjustments, so we ask for your understanding as we cannot yet provide an exact implementation date.
We will continue to monitor the feedback provided by Adventurers and remain committed to ongoing improvements.

Additionally, please note that we are also reviewing the usage status of Stealth and Black Spirit Emergency Escape skills in various situations.
